Mobile Revolution In India

When I went to India, i was surprised to see the amount of mobile penetration, it has reached nook and corner of India, thanks to BSNL. Well, Sam Pitroda was right, for any technological social revolution to take place in India, it should come as a govt. policy. India is a developing country and most of its people are poor and private institutions will be interested in markets that will generate revenue for them in a huge manner, like metros. But the hear of India is villages and it takes the will of Govt. to pump funds into those areas to take the wonderful advanced technologies availabe to the poorest of the poor. Once again thanks to BSNL, which takes the mobile coverage to the heart of India and people are actually using the facility in a huge huge way in the path of realizing a better life.
