Todays Excitement

Well, today it seems not many exciting news, except for the catching up Valentine's mood in India. One side the day is getting popular year after year and scores of products are coming into the market to cater to the demand. On the other hand RSS along with its Durga Vahini is making every effort to stop the culture and trying to send a message to the community that they don't indulge themselves in guilty pleasures taking advantage of the day. They are actually portraying the gujarat new year victim, Bijal Joshi who committed suicide after being raped by her boy friend & co, and telling the parents and girls that they could be the next Bijal. Well, I certainly support that campain, at the same time, the tv channels which are promoting the Valentines day in a big way also should be made responsible to tell the audience to be careful and give out a message something like what they do on Cigarette packets - 'Smoking is Injurious to Health', well I guess I saw this sign more prominent than the actual brand in Amsterdam, well next time I will have to get a picture of that thing for everybody to see. Thats all for today as of now. Uh ohh forgot something, i was sick from yesterday with sore throat and am on pills which are very drowsy, helped me to take a break from work and sleep all day and night ;-). Looks like I am getting back on track again.
