The day after his wedding, the Prince of Najafgarh couldn't stop smiling. And this smile certainly wasn't only for the teeming cameramen waiting to capture him in their lens. It was the aura of matrimony which was evident.

Virender Sehwag looked resplendent in a black bandh gala when he walked in with his wife, Aarti, moments before he was going in for his reception when Timesofindia.com caught up with him.

The reception, hosted by Latika Khaneja, who is also the director of Collage Sports Management, which manages endorsements for Sehwag, was held at Maurya Sheraton in New Delhi. Massive security arrangements were made to control the media, gate crashers and fans who had already lined up since early evening to catch a glimpse of their hero, who brought home the Man of the Series award from the India-Pakistan series.

When asked what was it about Aarti that he liked most, the shy and humble Sehwag said, "Everything about her is very nice." And to the same question Aarti said, "He is a very humble and down to earth person and this is what I like most about Virender. I really love him"

Sehwag returned the compliment: “Ours is a love marriage. I am very happy that I have married the woman I love.”

Aarti was dressed in a crimson red lehanga fwith matching Kundan jewellery. Viru's outfit was designed by Geisha, who also designed his outfits for a suiting commercial.

Veeru is completely smitten by Arti, can't stop looking at her in this pic.
