Internet through cable becomes cheaper in Orissa

Internet services through cable in Orissa have become cheaper with the state's only service provider announcing a cut in the cost of equipment like modems.

Ortel Communication Ltd, which also provides Internet services through dial up, has made its service through cable cheaper, said B.P. Rath, vice president of the company.

The cable Internet service is provided via the data over cable system interface standard 2.0 modem, which cost Rs.20,000 three years ago. This has now come down to Rs.3,000, Rath told IANS.

When I was in India, Andhra Pradesh, Ongole, the cable internet service providers told that for a fee of Rs. 3000/- they would provide activate teh service and recurring monthly fee would be Rs. 500/-. As I was leaving by then, I did not get time to find out about the data transmission limits etc. Stil it sounded very cheap compared to dialup cost.

I want a networking job in your company in orissa, now I work in a networking company in hydrabad.i work networking, cabling,clipping,sat ip address for networking ,I salve all the customer problems. how sating ip address, there are two tipes of clipping one is hubs to hubs and anther is hubs to computer . I think that works good in orissa, but I have no scope to do that in orissa.i know all the work for the internet thru the cable. I menten hear 500 customer. I salve all problems. but I want to this work in orissa. My home is in orissa.now I read spoken English for six month, I have some net working books in which book I salve all the meager problems. I also know some hardware work that is LAN card install, format wind 98 . if u want to scope me in ur company plese write me a mail. First I rich near u than I told about that.
