Cinema Kaslalu

In teleugu there is a usage that we do - 'Cinema Kastalu' meaning 'Problems just like our indian movie hero has some like a windowed mom, unmarried sister, out of control brother, no job, torturing vilan etc......'

Well, yesterday my day was like that, filled with Cinema Kastalu. The day was filled like this.

#1 I worked late until 4 in the morning in office trying to solve some issue.
#2 Slept late into the afternoon and found that I have missed a meeting which was very important to attend.
#3 Came to office and found that the code that needs to be integrated is not getting built properly, the developers who are suppossed to check in proper files have not done so and it started feeling like hell.
#4 In the evening I found that, some requirements are not developed at all, and unlike my regular attitude, I became furious about that, but settled down with out getting the things out of hand.
#5 I went to attend this 5th Annual Convention of GDIACC and the pissed off by singing national anthem wrongly.
#6 I came out of the convention in between and started driving on the free way and I got a flat tyre on a very busy freeway, near to downtown on a friday evening, it was like thousands of rokcets going beside me every minute.
#7 I got struck and I realized that I don't have the Road Side assistance number of Cingular, the company I work for also provides roadside assistance as part of the cell phone service.
#8 I tried to call verious friends and all of them are out and they don't have numbers and I kept trying and trying various numbers for 1/2 hour and did not get the number.
#9 Finally one friend Shyam after about 30 mins of getting stranded on the road side figured out the number and gave it to me. I called them and to my surprise found, that my profile is not showing up and I came to know later that Cingular removed roadside assistance from employees rateplans, probably to cut costs (ofcourse they don't provide free cofee too, to cut costs).
#10 At that point I realized that I forgot my leather bag at the Convention in the hurry of moving out, which has all kinds of things like check, photograhs what not, my complete profile is there in that. Gosh, then I sighed, what a crazy day.
#11 Then I looked up at my insurance card of State Farm Insurance and there is not 800 number written on that for contacting, which is crazy, I guess I should sue them for that.
#12 Later called up Prateek for help, even his rate plan has raod side assistance removed. He did some investigation and finally gave me statefarm number.
#13 In the mean time Sairam, a junior from my college who got AAA membership called up AAA to help me out.
#14 While the AAA guy is on the way, somebody called 911 and cops came to help me out and they taught me how to change tyres next time I have a flat tyre. Gosh, it is such a simple job and I wasted 1 1/2 hr on the road side of very busy freeway, undergoing all kinds of stress.
#15 Mean time I got in touch with Sid who promised to help me out to trace my bag at GDIACC and finally we found out that, my bag is missing from the place where it is suppossed to be.

Gosh, what a day, some days are just bad, we have to hang in there and wait for it to pass and see what you can do that does not happen next time. Good thing out of this whole stress is that, i learnt how to change car tyre :-)
