JNTU - Official Alumni Database

Finally JNTU has got an official JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY - ALUMNI database. I am impressed, looks like students have developed it, it certainly need improvement, but its nice to have some kind of official database.

JNTU has the history of churning out the best engineers ever since its inception in 1961. Alumni stands strong to prove the success of the university, and its efforts. In order to envisage the vision and the goals of the alumni, a database for the alumni has been created, which will be constantly upgraded.

This effort was initiated with the view to keep alive, the interaction between the alumni, through cyber networking, so that, the alumni may, learn the whereabouts of their batchmates, benefit from the placement cell, wherein vacancies and opportunities may be put to use. This also helps them in gaining or helping in the creation of the Knowledge bank, and also in interacting and participating in discussions. This also helps in identifying potential among alumni who may, if willing, contribute useful service to the institute.

The alumni association thus acts as a platform to share views and experience, on common interests. The institute has envisioned a mutual benefit, and hopes for, donations to the institute in cash or in kind and that the alumni office provides transit facilities and also facilitates sending of various certificates from the institute to the concerned candidate.
