Lakshmi Bai - Jhansi Ki Rani

Sushmita Sen is the first India lady who won Miss Universe title in 1994 at the age of 19. Then I was still in college and I remember being totally crazy about her. I am still crazy about her though :-). She is a very fascinating lady who lives a very dynamic life. I was reading an interview of her @ Source: I want it all - money, fame, relationships... I love my life: Sushmita.

I always know Lakshmi Bai as 'Jhansi Ki Rani', a brave heart who ferociously faought British in Sepoy Mutiny. But, this statement made by Sushmita in the interview gave me a totally new perspective:

For me Rani Lakshmibai is so fascinating — in India they always say, the sons of the mother are fighting for her. This is the one time in history that a mother fought for her son. And I am dying to make this film.
