Katrina Fund Raising

I did fund raising for Tsunami using my website and numerous donors from USA have generously donated.

Now USA's gulf coast is devastated I am trying to raise money again using my website.

If you are in USA, you can directly go to Redcross or Salvation Army or any other sites and donate for the relief fund.

If you are not in USA and has a credit card you also can donate directly at Redcross or Salvation Army sites.

I am trying to find out if there are any other means of raising funds using my website internationally. If you have any ideas please let me know. If you have any information about other means of donating, please let me know and I will post the information of the website.

Muslims Around the World Unite for Katrina Victims

Throughout the day on Friday, 9/2005, brothers from an MSN Group, a Yahoo group, and I worked together to work out a fundraising plan for the victims of Katrina. While the efforts are ongoing, we do have in place a means by which you can make a finacial contribution, should you like to do so. We have selected two charities that your donations will be forwarded to, and there may be a third. We will update the website, as more information becomes available.

These charities are known for having low overhead, which means that the majority of what you donate will go where it was intended, to the people and not the administrators.

At this time we have two methods of contribution available, PayPal and Western Union. As soon as it is available we will also be accepting donations by wire transfer.
